No One is Illegal on Stolen Land

It can be easy to feel hopeless during times of humanitarian crises, but oftentimes that hopelessness turns into apathy and complacence. I have been feeling very hopeless lately about the ICE detention centers that immigrants are being held in without trial, where they are being brutalized with dehumanizing conditions and dying. I’m feeling hopeless about the threats from the president of deporting millions of people, and separating families. It is hard to look into the face of an administration that doesn't care about human lives if they're brown. Most of us aren't in a position to directly change laws, so the only weapons we have in this fight are our time and money.

Because of that, if you email a screenshot to showing that you donated $10 or more to a border aid, legal aid, or immigration reform organization, I willl mail you an assortment of stickers, buttons, or other art including my “no one is illegal” sticker.

Finding Inspiration: Delusion Soup

By Krista Nicole

In my constant search for inspiration, i have been thinking a lot about my childhood memories of what inspired me and woke up the artist inside me. Growing up in the late 90's/early 2000's, i was lucky enough to have beautifully animated tv shows, movies, and books everywhere i looked. Lately, i have been going back to my original sources of inspiration to rekindle the beginning of my passion for illustration.

These are 10 incredible characters that i loved as a kid, and appreciate as an adult! (in no particular order):

1. Elastagirl, The Incredibles

2. Chicha, The Emperors New Groove
