Hi, my name is Alexia Orozco. I'm from Phoenix, Arizona, and I am a model and writer. I've been a writer pretty much for my whole life. I really don't remember a time where I wasn’t writing, probably since the first grade. And for modeling, I really just started to get into that at the end of 2021, going into 2022.

The reason that I really wanted to get into modeling in the first place was just because I was looking for a way to feel better about myself and to kind of raise my self-confidence. And so getting into modeling definitely helped a lot with that.
My style for modeling could be described as very versatile. I feel like I've done a lot of different kinds of projects and different kinds of looks. And honestly, I can't really pick a favorite. I like being able to kind of do all kinds of sort of things.
I like to be versatile, and my writing style, I feel like, is very direct and very focused on whatever it is that I'm writing about. So whether I'm writing about fashion or whether I'm writing about art, I really like to make sure that the focus is on what I'm writing about and just being able to get all the information possible so that the reader really understands what they’re going through.

When I first started modeling, I was very, very shy. I was very closed in. I feel like I obviously had a lot of issues with self-confidence and not really knowing much of anything. I mean, I knew kind of what you needed to model, but I didn't really know how to put all those elements into play. And so I really wasn't sure on posing or what I needed to bring to castings what people were looking for during castings.
But fast forward to now, I feel like it all comes pretty natural and it really just comes with practice and knowing kind of what you want to do and where you want to go and just doing your research really is what really helps.
The main reason why I really like to create art is because I love connecting with other people and I love creating with other people. I like to say that I was really created to create, and so being able to do that and meet new people along the process makes it all the better, because you get to expand your circle, meet new creatives and get new ideas.

For anyone who might be a little nervous or a little off put at chasing their dream, or going after that goal of becoming a model or actress or whatever it is that you wanna be, I would say that you should definitely go for it and believe in yourself wholeheartedly. Because really, you can’t expect anyone else to believe in you if you don’t believe in yourself. So fake it til you make it and it gets better from there.
