Submissions Guidelines

• Submission Requirements:

  • 4-12 images

  • JPG or PNG format

  • SRGB Color Profile

  • Recommended Dimensions are Portrait: 8.5 × 11 in, 300 dpi (2550 × 3300 px) or Landscape: 17 × 11 in, 300 dpi (5100 × 3300 px)

  • At least 3000 pixels on the longest side

  • Copyright owner only

  • Artist Statement explaining the purpose, inspiration, or impact behind the project being submitted.

• Contagion Media reserves the rights to Accept or Deny any submission.

• We do not provide free copies for print publications, but will provide complimentary tear sheets for all contributors.

• Content must be exclusive and unpublished. If your editorial or video has been published in another publication it will not be accepted.

• Contagion Media reserves the right to rename editorial submissions.

• Team credits are required for all submissions, We will not be responsible for any missing or incorrect credit. Double check information and include proper credits for the creative team. Include all contributors full name and instagram handle. We will not make changes after the publication of the magazine.

• Once an image is accepted to be published, it grants Contagion Media the permission to use your work in any of our publications, websites, videos, marketing pieces, advertisements, and any other mediums or formats used in the creation, dissemination, and monetization of Contagion Magazine. Everyone who submits an application takes responsibility for allowing the placement of photo materials, video and other products. This item is our substitution of the release for the rights of placement. In the case of raising disputes from third parties, the dialogue will be conducted only with the applicant's side, since all responsibility for the materials transferred lies with submission contributor.

• In the submission of the application, the approximate date of publication may be indicated, but the editor has the right to publish your work faster or later, this depends on Contagion Media’s workload.
