Krysta describes herself as being creative, colorful and care-free, which is perfect for an individual who specializes in using vivids and extensions in their work. She has been practicing on herself and her friends since she was in high school, allowing her to see the results and learn from them. “I swear I colored my hair every other day when I was in high school and when I made my own hair fall off I forced other people to let me color theirs. Only kidding, but I did get a lot of practice before I knew what I was doing!” - Krysta Alyse. She also remembers one of the first times experiments on hair was when she cut her bangs in secret, behind her moms back!

Getting your hair done can be a nerve-racking experience. You never know exactly how the hair will turn out. The surprise of changing your look can bring on nerves and excitement, especially when looking for a new stylist. If you choose Krysta Alyse to help you with your next look, the finished look is sure to be iconic.

When being in the artistic process, Krysta says she creates in the moment, meaning that once the client is sitting and she is able to see what they are working with, the vision comes alive. When consulting on your look and collaborating with each other's ideas, you can expect to come out with the look you did not expect you needed!

Hair is an important part of one's identity, whether you have short, long or no hair at all, that is where most people will always look at right away, which is why it is important to work with someone who sees your full potential through your new hairstyle. “When a masterpiece is created on someone’s head, they feel more confident and brighter. The more people exude positive energy, the better the world is to live in.” - Krysta Alyse.

Krysta loves to make others feel beautiful in their own skin and understands how hair is very essential to a person's true identity. Being able to be creative and to give someone confidence in themselves is very fulfilling in career and life.

Learning does not stop here for Kysta, even though her work is beautiful and stunning, there is no time to stop educating herself on the things that will grow her abilities in the long run. Krysta states that “No one knows everything and the industry changes at the blink of an eye. Education is always key!” As a creative in 2023, social media has changed the entire game for creative artists for the better, especially in the hairstylist community. It has given so many people the opportunity to learn from others who have had many years of experience or even just learning new tips and tricks from people who use different techniques. A dream collaboration for Krysta would be with artist and hairstylist Kayla Boyer (@kayla_boyer on IG).

Outside of being a hairstylist and making your hair stand out, Krysta spends time with all of her fluffy animals and is happily married to her loving husband. If you did not already know, Krysta is also an amazing singer and says that she loves to sing in the car and craft anything she can.

Krysta has really exciting projects coming up and cannot wait to share them with the world. In the meantime you can book Krysta Alyse for your next hair color and extension session at Drop Dead Hair Studio in Mesa, Arizona!
