Can you tell us a summary of who you are as a person and as an artist?
I am an adventurer, always searching for new beautiful things to see and experience. I use my personal experiences and places I have been as inspiration for the art I make. I use my talents to make art that positively affects the world.
What is your most proudest accomplishment in your art career?
I would have to say my proudest accomplishment was building a business for my art. It is one thing to make and make and make, which I have been doing for years. And it is quite another thing to make things that are desired and are marketable and have a purpose for being made.
What are some of your current goals? short term and long term?
One of my short term goals is to set up a stained glass studio within my current set up. A long term goal is to expand my business model beyond Sedona into places like Colorado and Oregon. My ultimate goal is to visit every tourist destination world-wide, make art about them, and have stickers available for purchase in each of those places.
How would you describe your art style?
It's fun, friendly, heart-opening and colorful. I work in many different mediums, but the thing that stays consistent is my sense of color and loving attitude toward the subject of the art.

How has your art style evolved over time?
It has become more refined. I'm able to go to place, or look at an object and distill it down to its basic components. I've expanded into new mediums as well, which gives a unique set of parameters to the artist process.
Can you tell us about any of your recent projects?
I recently started drawing collections of things in nature, such as types of wildflowers, types of mushrooms, types of clouds, etc. I expect to expand on this series.
What is your favorite type of art or pieces or medium to create?
I love to do illustrations most of all. Illustrations were my first art medium and my most useful form because it can take an infinite number of forms one it is completed. Plus it is useful for the custom work I do for other businesses. I love to make art about nature and beautiful places, my feelings, and animals too.
Are there any art pieces or artists you would travel the world to go see?
I would love to visit the other MeowWolf installations. I love the Renaissance masters as well. I would not mind seeing some of that in person.
What is your dream art project?
I dream about working with other artists to create something like MoewWolf has done. It is an immersive, interactive world full of creative spirit. I would love to make something like that.

Why is art important to you?
Ooof, art is life to me. It is the thing that makes the most sense to me in this world. I am so grateful for all it has become in my life, such as also becoming my source of income. It brings me closer to other people and gives me a way to help others achieve success.
