To understand the heart behind The Fashion Pour, you have to understand its founder Odalys’s philosophy: “Fashion with a purpose, media with heart, and community over competition.” That mantra has become the foundation of a growing creative movement in Phoenix, Arizona—one that’s not just changing the way people experience fashion, but transforming how women-owned businesses connect, collaborate, and show up for themselves and each other.

More than an event platform, The Fashion Pour is a vibrant ecosystem of empowerment. “To explain my perspective in entrepreneurism,” Odalys shares, “I have to explain what The Fashion Pour is and how it came about.” Born from the desire to “pour back into ourselves, our community, and our collective confidence,” the platform has evolved into a series of intentionally curated experiences—from Style Swaps to Pour Into You gatherings—all rooted in connection, creativity, and care.

A Creative Spark with Purpose

Part of the origin story of The Fashion Pour stems from an entirely different kind of venture: the mobile bar business Odalys owns with her husband. It was through that journey that she discovered a deep love for branding and the visual artistry that flows naturally alongside running a business. That creative spark became the foundation of what would eventually become The Fashion Pour.

But perhaps the most powerful motivation behind her current momentum is her 1½-year-old son. “He keeps my motivation spinning at an inspirational rate,” she says. Odalys is determined to give him a living example of what a “boss mom” looks like—a model of independence, perseverance, and passion in action. “I want him to know that hard work can be so rewarding, and that what you build can actually help make your community a better place.”

Fashion as Connection

With events that feel more like celebrations of identity than commercial showcases, The Fashion Pour redefines what fashion can represent. “I help host interactive experiences that celebrate and highlight women-owned businesses, sustainable fashion, style, and self-expression,” Odalys explains. “Always with a touch of glam and intention.”

Her signature activation, the Style Swap, encourages guests to bring in clothing to exchange—no money involved. “A dress for a dress. So simple, yet already saving you dollars.” It’s a creative solution to the consumerism of traditional fashion and a gentle invitation to reimagine self-expression as something inclusive, accessible, and community-driven.

Content with Heart

As an extension of the brand, The Fashion Pour includes a content arm, Oshoot.az, that provides photography, video, and branding visuals for creatives. It’s a service Odalys approaches with soul. “It’s about helping multi-faceted creatives tell their story in a way that feels true to them,” she says. She understands that in a world where content is everywhere, authenticity and clarity are what actually cut through the noise.

What’s more, Odalys doesn’t see The Fashion Pour as a traditional business model. “To me, this is more like a foundation,” she says. That focus reflects her passion for philanthropy, partnerships, and meaningful impact. She’s building something bigger than herself—a platform designed to support, uplift, and connect women in business with the tools and inspiration they need to thrive.

Fueling the Vision

One of the earliest sparks came through a conversation with Lauren, owner of Cutie Pie Crafties. “She told me how ChatGPT was helping her with her business, so I started to treat my AI like a personal assistant,” Odalys recalls. That pivot helped her organize ideas across three different ventures and bring The Fashion Pour into focus. It’s the perfect example of how openness to tools, technology, and collaboration can lead to powerful momentum.

For anyone at the start of their own journey, Odalys has this advice: “Stay happy, positive, optimistic—because if most people knew the challenges that lie ahead, they’d never do it. Just keep feeding the ideas, fueling the passion, and focus your energy on the successes, no matter how small or slow they might feel at the time. Just keep moving to the next steps.”

Whether you’re struggling to create a business plan, come up with branding ideas, or just need some positive talk and inspiration—O’s got you covered. With The Fashion Pour, Odalys is building more than a brand. She’s creating a movement. For more, follow @thefashionpour on Instagram.
