10 TV Shows on Netflix to Binge-Watch During Self-Quarantine (With Trailers)
By Kiara Ramirez
1. The Haunting of Hill House
This is a scary good series. I am personally a fan of horror movies and I thought they were able to make each episode scary in its own way, while being able to tie everything together at the end.
2. Stranger Things
I'm sorry but you must be living under a rock if you haven't heard of Stranger Things. It gives off such a strong energy that I feel like I become engulfed in a montage of 80s film, while still having its own original storyline. If you only watch one thing on this list, make it this.
3. Narcos
This show has both English and Spanish dialogue so you got to read subtitles unless you know both languages. It's about the Colombian drug trade involving Pablo Escobar, so there's
lots of drugs, guns, and violence.
4. Wormwood
If you like conspiracy theories, this is your show to watch. As we all know, sometimes the government likes to hide secrets but this one really gets you thinking.
5. Manhunt: Unabomber
This series showcases The Unabomber, an American terrorist who wreaked havoc across a 17 year span. This one is a great one to watch if you appreciate the science behind crimes being solved.
6. Atypical
Following an 18 year old with Autism, this show gives you an insight on what life might be like with such a unique family dynamic. It has realistic situations without making you feel like you're watching a telenovela.
7. Mindhunter
Chronicles the beginning of the science behind criminal profiling. I found it very interesting because there's a million shows about true crime, but not too many on how it changed from theory to practice.
8. Dark
For this one, you might want to prepare yourself for some multiple timelines because it gets cray. With each twist that comes along, I somehow want to keep watching to find out what happens.
9. The Umbrella Academy
This one was particularly binge-worthy. As I was watching it, I could understand why their family dynamics were unstable. Yet, I would find myself clicking next episode so that I wouldn't have to wait any longer for the next one.
10. The Office
The Office is one of those shows I find myself going back to. No matter how many times I see an episode, it still makes me break out into fits of giggles even though I know it's coming. Watch this show from start to end, and I promise it will feel like saying goodbye to friends when the time comes.
